About the Event

• Black Mountain Golf Club, named PGA of BC Golf Facility of the Year for 2018

• Perfectly manicured fairways, and an array of golf holes like no other in the Okanagan

• 18 holes of golf on a par-71, 6400 yard championship golf course

• Delicious food! Lunch and Dinner will be provided

• Fun on course contests

• An opportunity to meet, play and socialize with local athletes

• $250 per player includes green fees and shared power cart

Day of the Event

8:30: Early 9 Hole (Optional)

• Join us for an optional 9 hole pre-tournament shotgun
• Please notify us if you intend to play this early 9

10-12: Registration

• Come by the tent to register
•  A BBQ lunch will be provided

12:30: Kelowna Classic 

• The main event! 18 holes of golf in support of SOBC – Kelowna
• Shotgun start

6-8pm: Dinner and Reception

• Join us for dinner at ​​​​​​The Grill, located in Black Mountain’s clubhouse

About Special Olympics BC – Kelowna

• Special Olympics BC – Kelowna programs cater to all ages and a wide range of abilities. We have programs for children, youth, and adults

• 175 athletes and 100+ volunteers

• We provide an introduction to sport and physical activity, year-round sport and training programs for a wide range of ability levels, and opportunities to participate in local, regional, national, and international competitions

• Special Olympics is a charitable organization that relies on public, corporate, and government support to deliver low-to-no cost athletic programs in B.C. communities

Welcome to Putts for Paws 2025

Putts for Paws is a Texas-Scramble style tournament to raise funds for the Okanagan Humane Society while meeting fellow animal lovers and enjoying the beauty of Black Mountain Golf Course. We hope you will join us on June 22, 2024 for the 2PM shotgun start.

Putts for Paws was created to engage local business people while celebrating a love for animals. To date we have raised over $70,000 for the care of animals.

Entry fees are $200 per golfer or $750 per team. Registration includes 18 holes, shared power cart, buffet dinner, on-course games, and entries for prizes. Register Here

Early Bird Draw! Register by April 15th to be entered in for the draw of 2 passes to the Harvest Golf Club.

We will welcome you in the parking lot from noon-1:45PM of the tournament day. New Country 100.7 will be onsite with music and golfers can enjoy a beverage on the great Black Mountain patio. Come and socialize!

AUCTION: We will have an online auction with a few select items at the event only.

1:00pm Shotgun on Saturday, 9:30am Shotgun on Sunday. (You are allowed to request your 1st Round pairing and tee time, however, 2nd Round pairings and tee times will be based on 1st Round scoring & flights.)

BMGC Members & PGA of Canada Professionals – $250 | Non-BMGC Members – $300

Optional Friday Night Horserace @ 5:30pm
